Active Mood Management Group

Meet on Tuesdays, 12 p.m. (see schedule below)

First meeting on main campus, exact location TBD. Facilitators will contact everyone prior to the first meeting. 

Interested in using exercise to manage mood? FSAP counselor, Janeen Haller-Abernethy and Jessie Dallman will facilitate an 4-week support group utilizing walking and easy hiking to manage stress and overall mood as well as symptoms of anxiety and depression. Participants will experiment with various paces and styles of walking to identify impact on mood.

Sessions will be canceled or rescheduled in the event of severe weather including lightning, forecasted storms or weather events, extreme wind. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, wearing appropriate walking gear, using sunscreen and bringing hydration.


These are not weekly drop-in walks; registration for the session is required.
