The Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor oversees the five main functional units that comprise the Department of Human Resources.
- Employment Services
Employment Services provides personnel services for developing and retaining an exceptional workforce. Our services include recruiting, position management, compensation, FLSA interpretation, background check policy administration, and employment policy interpretation and consulting.
- Office of Labor Relations
The Office of Labor Relations provides guidance and information to employees and supervisors regarding employee relations matters including performance management, progressive discipline, grievance and dispute resolution procedures, and leave issues.

- Faculty and Staff Assistance Program
The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program is a confidential counseling/consulting service designed to provide assistance to faculty and staff for personal or work-related concerns that may interfere with job performance.
- Office of Discrimination and Harassment
The Office of Discrimination and Harassment will address all complaints of discrimination and harassment based upon race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or veteran status when the alleged harasser is an employee.
- Organizational and Employee Development
Organizational and Employee Development's educational programs are offered on campus by University employees who are experienced and effective trainers.
- Americans with Disabilities Act
The ADA Coordinator supports the ongoing development of an accessible university that embraces and celebrates diversity.

Background Check Policy Updated Classified Compensation FAQ The Department of Personnel and Administration has recommended cost of living and merit increases for classified staff effective July 1, 2013.
