Access to the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and Central Information Warehouse (CIW) 

HRMS

Boulder campus employees who need access to the HRMS module of the PeopleSoft system should fill out an "HRMS System Access Request Form" found at Peoplesoft System Forms. This form can be filled out online and signed using a digital signature. Questions about obtaining or revising HRMS access should be addressed to hraccess@colorado.edu. 

The basic level of access is the ability to inquire (view data) and run reports. This is called INQUIRY access.  The next level is ENTRY access and the highest level is APPROVAL.

The Request Form lists training courses required for specific levels of access. Most training courses are online.

Here are the steps to access SkillSoft, CU’s computer-based training software: 

• Logon to the Boulder Enterprise portal  

• Click the CU Resources tab.

• In the left column, click TRAINING, then click Start SkillSoft.  

• Click Catalog.

• Click University of Colorado-Courses to open the expandable course structure. 

• For the Fiscal Code of Ethics course, open the Budget and Finance folder then hover your mouse over the course name and click LAUNCH

• Open the HRMS folder to locate other training courses. 

CIW

Access to the CIW is necessary for accessing various web based reports, and for creating your own queries using BrioQuery, MS Access, etc.

This form can be filled out online and signed using a digital signature. Questions about obtaining or revising CIW access should be addressed to hraccess@colorado.edu.   Refer to General Information About the CIW to learn more.

The Fiscal Code of Ethics online training course must be completed before access to the CIW will be given. Follow the steps above (in the HRMS section) to access SkillSoft, CU’s computer-based training software.
